Building skills in just a few sessions!

 

These workshops help you target specific skills and behaviors in a very short timeframe. Each workshop is limited to six dogs. The small class size ensures that you and your dog receive optimal attention in a calm, focused learning environment.

DOGS BEHAVING BADLY!
  • Description: This workshop is designed to give you a reliable behavior to use to build your dog's impulse control. This workshop is perfect for addressing food grabbing, door dashing, people jumping, and just plain loosing focus. We'll work on a solid sit/stay around a variety of real life distractions.
  • Duration: 2 90-minute classes
  • Pre-requisites: none
  • Price: $85
WALKABOUT
  • Description: This workshop is designed to give you more control while walking your dog in the neighborhood or around town. We focus on polite walking on leash, particularly in the presence of distractions. We also cover loose leash walking, leave it and go for it.
  • Duration: 3 90-minute classes
  • Pre-requisites: BASIC MANNERS class or instructor approval
  • Price: $125
ROCKET RECALL
  • Description: This workshop is designed to help you build a reliable recall despite distractions.
  • Duration: 3 90-minute classroom sessions plus one field trip to test things out
  • Pre-requisites: BASIC MANNERS class or instructor approval
  • Price: $165
ABOUT TOWN
  • Description: We take our new skills and go out on field trips. We brush up on behaviors and concepts we learned in BASIC MANNERS, focusing on Stays during distractions, Loose leash walking and A loose heel. We will go to an urban or suburban neighborhood together, a pet supply store, and an outing at a park.
  • Duration: 4 90-minute lessons. (one classroom and three field trips)
  • Focus:
    • Loose leash walking around distractions
    • Situational awareness
    • Handling
  • Pre-requisites: BASIC MANNERS class, WALKABOUT workshop or instructor approval
